The thinking so far
The gap it responds to
The businesses on this show are past the stage friends and family can serve and below the size institutional capital will look at. That gap is where most of them stall, and it is not a talent problem.
What is being explored
Whether the community around AfriCAN Do! — people who have built businesses here and understand what that takes — could support founders at that stage in a structured way, rather than the ad hoc way it already happens informally.
Where the thinking is
Early. The concept was put to the Inner Circle in June 2026 for discussion and for a steering committee to be nominated. Nothing has been established, and no structure has been settled.
