We are honored to welcome Abubakar Aidarus, the Founder and CEO of Solargen Technologies, to the show.
Abubakar’s story is a masterclass in identifying a gap and having the resilience to fill it. While still an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Nairobi, Abubakar didn’t just wait for graduation—he launched Solargen in 2010.
With a background rooted in the Equity Bank pre-university program and executive training from Harvard Business School, Abubakar has scaled Solargen into a leading force for energy, water, and food security. As an EPRA T3 Licensed solar PV expert, he is quite literally powering the future of underserved, off-grid communities across Kenya.
