Mike Muthiga
Fatboy Animations
This week, we sit down with Mike Muthiga, the visionary co-founder of Fatboy Animations. Mike has redefined Kenyan storytelling, using humor and animation to hold a mirror to society while building a thriving animation empire.
Through his work at Fatboy Animations he has brought hilarious, thought provoking and iconic characters to life on our screens. Characters like The Caveman (of mazgwembe fame), Mbugua (JTL entrepreneur), Somman, Mama Maiko, Wangeci, Kapintress and the indefatigable KAPINTO! Through whom we get to have a satirical look at ourselves that we can both laugh at/with and ponder on.
